I think that everything said made a bunch of sense. However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I ain't suggesting your information is not solid, however suppose you added a post title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post titles to grab people interested. You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little bit more interesting.
